several days ago, made an application for credit card on the website of a national bank (not to say any names but one of the most solid and more history in this country .) In addition, this bank is one of the few or only being certified at CMMI , but I'm wrong with a maturity level 3.
The first 3 days, the flow of the process was excellent,
1 .- Role: User.
Activity: User Registration application interested in the website.
2 .- Role: System
Activity: Delivery of electronic records to user's mail coded query.
3 .- Role: Administrator (or System)
Activity: Parameterization and pre-approval.
4 .- Role: System
Activity: Delivery of results of pre-approval.
5 .- Role: Administrative
Activity: Initial Verification of address data.
6 .- Role: Administrative
Activity: Verification of documents.
7 .-?
I can not go for from the 13 that I made the request was not notified of anything else. In a subsequent visit I made to one of the care workers told me that was listed as rejected for not submitting documents. My immediate question was: "And in that moment I asked for my documents?". The answer did not exist.
doing some research out there, get to know about the system that services requests the previous version they used to use the operators why the new evaluators were unaware of all applications. Apparently the bank give more importance to the requests made from a module (which surely must be a higher percentage) than those normally carried out from the Internet.
imagine that the system (let's call "The old") will review applications and those with more than a certain time "No response" (I assume 5 days) the change in status rejected. (Obviously, this change of state never reported to the user.)
Realize this request because I just can not reconcile my study schedule, my work schedule with the opening hours of banks. (Not on Saturday that unemployment in project meetings and classes all day Sunday without saying that also I have classes.) Imagine that at the end
a bank (the bank where I have all my bills for a couple of years ago) bring Internet services optimally.
