RESIDENCE TIME REQUIRED TO APPLY

deadlines to be met are:

.- ONE YEAR:

- Those born in Spain.

- Married to a English / a.

- The subject of the guardianship, custody or foster care of a English home, even within 2 years following the end of it.

- The widow of a English home, if the death of a spouse is not legally separated or in fact.

.- TWO YEARS:

- nationals of Ibero-American countries, Andorra, Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, Portugal and the Sephardim.

.- 5 YEARS:

- Exiles and political refugees (in this case the period is counted from the date of application for asylum).

.- 10 YEARS

.- Any foreign person who is in a position different from those already mentioned.

IMPORTANT

To arrange Nationality should go to the Central Civil Registry in your city and ask for appointment. In the case of Madrid, C / Pradillo 66, Alfonso XIII. In some periods it is necessary to make an appointment directly and not in others.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED (ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY FOR YOUR copy)

1 .- request form. can be ordered in the civil register.

2 .- Original and copy of the Residence Card force.

3 .- Original and copy of complete passport .

4 .- Registration certificate. If married to English / a should be set. ORIGINAL AND PRESENT.

5 .- BIRTH , if translated and authenticated.

6 .- CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE

.- If the spouse is living outside Spain, will provide authorization or power of the original, authenticated and translated if necessary.

.- If the spouse is English, original birth certificate and copy of the ID. And personally attend the presentation day.

.- In case of being widowed, marriage certificate registered in the English Civil coexistence or registration certificate along with the deceased spouse at the date of death, literal birth certificate and spouse's death certificate.

7 .- CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH OF MINOR CHILDREN, legalized and, where appropriate, translated.

8 .- Certificate of CRIMINAL COUNTRY OF ORIGIN or good conduct issued by the consulate. ORIGINAL (legalized).

9 .- Consular Registration Certificate (requested by the Consulate) ORIGINAL.

10 .- Documents proving livelihoods: work contract, three recent pay slips, work life.

If domestic service, payroll and the contract is replaced by the original and copy of the contract, work life certificate, copy of ID the employer and the last three social security receipts in original and copy.

If autonomous / a, original and copy of latest income statement.

11 .- If you're grandchild of English / a , we need to make Literal birth certificate to prove it.

12 .- If you have been subject to legal guardianship, foster care or a English citizen or institution , it must also provide: copy of court order to determine custody or document of the competent authority of the Autonomous Region in this area.
